Equipment
- Tripod if available
- Canon camera (Kirk says only works with Canon)
- Canon 580 EX Speedlight Flash
- Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens
Steps
- Setting: Outdoor Portrait
- Direction of light is important
- Attach Flash directly to camera Hot Shoe
- Set camera for +/- 1/3 Exposure Bracketing
- Set camera for RAW for post proprocessing flexibility
- Set Flash to -1 1/3 (acts a fill flash)
- Set White Balance for Flash
- Set camera for Aperture Priority
- Set aperature to 4.5 to 6.3 (5.6 is good)
