Camera Tripods and Clamps

Tripod selection isn't as easy as it sounds, especially when one considers a quick release system. I selected the following after reviewing tripod weight, typical load, and stiffness. For me, the maximum load for the tripod in most cases is about 7 lbs (3.5 lbs for camera, and 3.5 lbs for medium telephoto).
