| This web cam was installed in July 2005 as an experiment. It requires reliable Internet access which is not possible given the remoteness of the Gliderport. Because the communications link was so unreliable, it was also confusing. Finally in December 2008, the DSL Internet line was permanately disconnected permanately making this page inoperable. |

| The webcam time displayed is set to DST, which means it is accurate from the 2nd Sunday in March, to the 1st Sunday in November. For all other times, it will off by one hour. If it is incorrect by more than one hour, it means the camera or network connection is down. Revisit this page at a later time. |

This web cam is located at the Torrey Pines Gliderport in San Diego, Ca. It looks out upon paragliding and hang gliding pilots flying along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Snapshots are taken about once a minute and one is saved every hour to a Photo Album which can be accessed by clicking one of the links above (i.e., Today, Yesterday, etc.). If you are having difficulty viewing the images, click here for hints. If the image does not automatically update, click on your browser's Reload or Refresh button. |
