San Diego, CA. APRS LAN 14579

This page displays near real time network statistics for the San Diego, California wireless APRS network. APRSstat, a perl program, running on a Linux system collects data by making a telnet connection to the APRS server. Four graphs show network traffic resolution by: Day, Week, Month, and Year. APRSstat measures traffic by counting characters from the server. The program differentiates between "Nonposit" packets (those containing no position information) and "Posit" packets (those containing latitude and longitude information). Posit packets are displayed in blue, Non-posit packets in green, and the Total packets is in red.
